Our new learning station received great reviews from teachers across the region. Our hands-on approach reinforces learning objectives straight from the curriculum. Students take a hayride down to the barns. There, they collect milk from the dairy barn, gather eggs from the hen's nest, and shell corn from the cob. Students watch in disbelief as the kernels of corn are ground into meal and stirred into a batter for cornbread. This year, we'll discuss how corn, and other plants, can be made into environmentally friendly bio-fuels.
